D180
The D180 Simplex is the most compact Horizontal Stand-up Pouch machine of the whole PFM’s range. Despite its reduced size, its cutting-edge technology provides all the advantages that can be found in the greatest D-Series models.
The D180 simplex produces stand-up pouches (with optional zip) with maximum width 180mm and minimum 90mm. The maximum height is 300mm. The machine is available only in the Simplex version, which means it can produce 1 pouch per cycle and up to 80 pouches per minute.
It is a flexible machine that allows to change format very fast, even several times a day, without affecting productivity nor needing highly qualified personnel.
The machine can control film stretching perfectly and it is absolutely safe, very easy to sanitize and to use.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging
Thanks to a great commitment in research and development, the D-Series can achieve extraordinary results in the field of modified atmosphere packaging. In the case of grated cheese, for example, the D-Series allows to keep the residual oxygen threshold below 1%, with a gas consumption definitely lower than other machines.
PFM Recyclable Ready
The great issue in packaging today is the use of recyclable films: more specifically, the possibility to recycle them and therefore promote circular economy. For this reason, PFM’s cutting-edge research has been focusing for many years on eco-friendly films, making the whole D-Series range ready to work successfully with recyclable films.
